Super Cars on Ebay

That Car was on EBAY?

The Koenigsegg CCXR (Spotlight)

Where to begin with this car? Let me start by giving a short personal story. I was on a wiki-list that seemed to be highly regarded when dealing with SC's from the year, I believe 1969+, and I remember looking at the 2000-2009 list. There were a bunch of cars that weren't on the list, which made me a little upset. One of the cars that was not included on the list, but disputed was the Corvette Z06. Now lets get something straight right off the bat. The Corvette Z06 should be highly regarded as a SC, but is not and I believe its due to one judgement: Affordability. The Z06 will not pass 150K in most cases, and I have seen numerous Z06's in my day, and I live in Central New York (pretty much Upper Middle Class Towns and Farming). Heck, even the well known CNY hangout spot known as Sylvan Beach has a car show that is dedicated to Corvettes of all ages. So this comes to the question: What does the story have to do with The Koenigsegg CCXR? Well, the CCXR was on the list of the handful of Millenium Decade supercars, but so was the CCX and CC8S. Was this due to affordability? Im guessing so, because I took it in my interest to check how much a STOCK CCXR costed, without any adds, such as the cup holders. IT PRICES FOR 750K EUROS! In today's economy, thats about 1 million USD. So pretty much there is a bias in this disputed list of supercars. However, there is more to the CCXR than cost. Base Stats:
  • Twin Supercharged V 8 Engine
  • Environmentally Friendly (Runs on E100 and E 85)
  • 0-60 in 2.9 seconds
  • 15 MPG
  • 250+ Top Speed (MAYBE IT WILL BEAT THE VEYRON)
So, I have a request for all the readers. Let us make a new list of supercars, not based on affordability but on performance. Send me your Lists, and maybe I will review it/comment it. I wish this car sold on Ebay, but with the 7-9 month line time, its too precious to give to just anyone...

2004 Lamborghini Gallardo w/ All Wheel Drive

The Lamborghini Gallardo is a disputed SC with alot of spunk. This Lambo comes standard equipped with a 10 cylinder engine and a top speed of 192 mph. Thats a lot of speed for a coupe. It also comes base price 2009 of around 180k+, so its a cheaper SC, but not by alot. Also, the Gallardo comes with the E-Gear transmission, which is simply a paddle shift. It shifts much better when compared to a conventional manual transmission. With a timing of 0-60 in about 4.2 seconds, it is without doubt that the Gallardo is still a fast car, reaching 25~30 mph within the blink of an eye (Better not blink when driving around a playground).

Base Stats:
  • 0-100 Km/H in 4.2 seconds
  • Top Speed: 192 Miles Per Hour
  • Production: 2003-Now
  • 5.0/.2 V10
  • 6 speed E Gear/ Manual
  • Sports Car
  • Comes As 2 Door Coupe/ 2 Door Spyder

Selling on Ebay Motors Currently is a Lambo Gall, equipped with an E Gear transmission and the unique color trim of yellow on the outside and blue on the inside. This car also comes with an All Wheel Drive feature and the well known Lambo leather seating. The car has a clean carfax and was recently serviced. It lies in Miami, Florida and last time I checked was at 80,000 dollars, which is pretty good for a 2004 with only 9.2k miles. This Lamborghini was kept in excellent condition and needs a new owner so buy it up before it ends, because it's ending soon.
Brand New: 197k-210,000.00 USD
Used w/ 9.2k miles: Starts at 80,000 USD
