Where to begin with this car? Let me start by giving a short personal story. I was on a wiki-list that seemed to be highly regarded when dealing with SC's from the year, I believe 1969+, and I remember looking at the 2000-2009 list. There were a bunch of cars that weren't on the list, which made me a little upset. One of the cars that was not included on the list, but disputed was the Corvette Z06. Now lets get something straight right off the bat. The Corvette Z06 should be highly regarded as a SC, but is not and I believe its due to one judgement: Affordability. The Z06 will not pass 150K in most cases, and I have seen numerous Z06's in my day, and I live in Central New York (pretty much Upper Middle Class Towns and Farming). Heck, even the well known CNY hangout spot known as Sylvan Beach has a car show that is dedicated to Corvettes of all ages. So this comes to the question: What does the story have to do with The Koenigsegg CCXR? Well, the CCXR was on the list of the handful of Millenium Decade supercars, but so was the CCX and CC8S. Was this due to affordability? Im guessing so, because I took it in my interest to check how much a STOCK CCXR costed, without any adds, such as the cup holders. IT PRICES FOR 750K EUROS! In today's economy, thats about 1 million USD. So pretty much there is a bias in this disputed list of supercars. However, there is more to the CCXR than cost. Base Stats:
- Twin Supercharged V 8 Engine
- Environmentally Friendly (Runs on E100 and E 85)
- 0-60 in 2.9 seconds
- 15 MPG
- 250+ Top Speed (MAYBE IT WILL BEAT THE VEYRON)
